Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights.

What we collect

Name, email, phone, delivery and billing addresses, order history, date of birth (for age verification), and marketing preferences. Payment card data is handled directly by our payment provider and is never stored on our servers.

How we use it

To process your orders, verify your age, deliver your wines, send transactional emails (order confirmation, dispatch, delivery), and, where you have opted in, send marketing emails. We also use anonymised analytics to improve the site.

When you contact us

If you send us a message through the contact form, we keep your name, email address, any order reference you give us, and the message itself, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. We also store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address and your browser's user agent for 30 days. Those two are used only to stop the form being abused to send bulk mail, we never store the IP address itself, and both are erased automatically once the 30 days are up.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working (cart, login, age verification). We also use analytics cookies, which tell us how the site is used so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, though the site may not work correctly without the essential ones.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. You can exercise these rights through the account section or by emailing us. We will respond within one month.
