One of the standout wines in our collection is the Here & There Malbec. This wine is a perfect example of Boutinot’s commitment to quality and innovation. The Malbec grapes used in this wine are grown in the Swartland’s granite-rich alluvial soils, resulting in low yields and small concentrated berries. The winemaker uses a unique technique of 30% whole bunch and 70% whole berry fermentation, adding complexity and tannin structure to the wine.
On the nose, this wine is warm and inviting, with ripe redcurrant and raspberry fruit and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is juicy and approachable, with a core of gentle red berry fruit nicely balanced by fresh acidity and a rounded, supple finish. It’s a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, making it a perfect choice for those who enjoy experimenting with different foods.
